Terms of Service
These Terms of Service and End-User License Agreement govern your access to and use of Uncurled. Uncurled is operated by Julius Cherubini, Kivipelto 2, 40520 Jyväskylä, Finland. By downloading, accessing, using or purchasing through Uncurled, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Eligibility
Uncurled is intended for users aged 13 and over. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, use the app only with the involvement or permission of a parent or guardian when required by law. You must provide truthful information and comply with the laws that apply to you.
2. The Uncurled service
Uncurled provides posture training, general wellness information, guided exercises, reminders, scheduling, progress tracking and related app features. Some features may be available without an account. An account may be required for synchronisation, account recovery or subscription access.
We may add, remove or change features, content and availability. We will handle material changes in accordance with applicable law and these Terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights.
3. Health and safety
Uncurled is a general wellness and exercise tool, not a medical service. Its content is not medical advice and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, injury or medical condition. The app does not replace a healthcare professional.
Exercise carries a risk of discomfort or injury. Use your own judgement, follow the instructions, start carefully and stop if you feel pain, dizziness, numbness or unusual discomfort. Ask a qualified healthcare professional before exercising if you have a medical condition, injury, pregnancy-related concern or uncertainty about whether an exercise is suitable for you. Seek emergency help for an emergency.
We do not promise a particular posture, health, pain-relief or confidence result. Your results depend on factors outside our control, including your individual condition, consistency and use of the app.
4. Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in information and device secure and for activity carried out through your account. Do not share your account or use another person’s account without permission. Tell us promptly at support@deshrimp.app if you believe your account has been accessed improperly.
5. Your license to use the app
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to download and use Uncurled for your personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.
You must not:
- copy, resell, rent, sublicense or commercially exploit the app;
- modify, adapt, translate or create derivative works from it;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract its source code;
- scrape, overload, disrupt or interfere with the service;
- bypass a paywall, security feature or access restriction; or
- use the app unlawfully or to harm another person.
6. Content and intellectual property
Uncurled, its name, logo, design, software, exercise descriptions, illustrations, text and other content are owned by Julius Cherubini or used under permission. They are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you permission to use the app; they do not transfer ownership to you.
You retain rights in information and progress that you provide to Uncurled. You give us permission to process that information only as needed to provide the service, support you, protect the service and comply with the Privacy Policy.
7. Subscriptions and free trials
Uncurled may offer premium access through auto-renewing subscriptions. Available plans may include weekly, monthly and annual periods. The exact plan, price, currency, taxes, benefits and availability are shown in the Apple App Store or Google Play purchase screen before you buy.
We currently offer a 7-day free trial to eligible users where it is shown before purchase. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription will automatically start and the store will charge the renewal price shown before you accept the offer. Eligibility and trial availability are controlled by the relevant store and may vary by account, country and previous purchases.
We may later offer a paid introductory trial or another introductory offer. If we do, the length, introductory price, renewal price and applicable terms will be shown clearly before you accept it.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel through the Apple App Store or Google Play before the cancellation deadline shown by that store. Deleting your Uncurled account does not itself cancel a store subscription.
8. Billing, cancellation and refunds
Apple or Google processes purchases, charges, renewals, taxes and refunds for purchases made through its store. You must manage cancellation through the store account used for the purchase. You can contact support@deshrimp.app for help locating the correct subscription settings, but contacting us does not replace a store cancellation unless we confirm otherwise.
Refund requests should normally be made through the store where you purchased. Nothing in these Terms limits a refund, cancellation or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited.
If you live in the EEA, the United Kingdom or another place with a statutory cooling-off period for digital services, you may have a right to withdraw from the purchase. Where the law allows, that right may end when you expressly ask for immediate access to the digital service and acknowledge the effect of starting it. Any non-waivable right continues to apply.
9. Acceptable use
You must use Uncurled respectfully and lawfully. You must not misuse another person’s data, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with another user’s experience, or use the app to violate the rights of another person. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or our legal obligations.
10. Third-party services
Uncurled relies on third-party services, including Apple, Google, Supabase, PostHog and RevenueCat. Those services may have their own terms, privacy policies, availability limits and billing rules. We are not responsible for a third party’s independent service or policies. Your use of Uncurled remains subject to these Terms and the applicable store rules.
11. Availability and disclaimers
We aim to keep Uncurled available and useful, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, outages, device issues, network problems or circumstances outside our control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Uncurled is provided on an “as-available” basis without a promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for your individual needs.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Julius Cherubini will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of profits or loss resulting from your inability to use the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
This limitation does not remove statutory consumer rights or any liability that applicable law requires us to accept.
13. Ending your use
You can stop using Uncurled at any time and request account deletion in the app or by emailing support@deshrimp.app. Account deletion is permanent and does not refund past purchases or automatically cancel a store subscription.
We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these Terms, create a security or legal risk, or if we discontinue the service. Any rights or obligations that should reasonably continue after termination will continue, including payment obligations, intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers and liability limits.
14. Governing law and consumer rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without removing mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring a claim in the courts of your home country under applicable law.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service, subscription options or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required.
