A Daily Posture Routine You Can Finish in 10 Minutes

A daily posture routine works when it is short enough to repeat and broad enough to include your neck, shoulders, hips, and glutes.

Start with a neck reset

Do five slow chin tucks while sitting or standing. Glide your chin straight back, keep your eyes forward, and release without looking down. The movement should be small enough that your neck stays relaxed.

Then do a few gentle shoulder movements. You are preparing to move, not testing how far your joints can go.

Add controlled shoulder movement

Stand near a wall for wall slides. Move your arms upward and down through a range you can control. If your hands or elbows cannot stay close to the wall, shorten the range and keep the movement smooth.

You can use a towel or resistance band instead if the wall setup does not suit you. Keep your grip wide and avoid forcing the arms behind you.

Give your hips and glutes a turn

Use a half-kneeling hip flexor stretch on each side, then finish with glute bridges. Keep the hip stretch mild. During bridges, lift from the hips without turning the movement into a lower-back arch.

The routine is enough when you can finish it feeling ready to continue your day. Add time only when the short version has become easy to repeat.

Attach it to a real part of the day

Try the routine after your first work block, before a shower, or after you get home. Uncurled can guide the exercise sequence and remind you when the next session is due.

Stop if an exercise causes pain, dizziness, numbness, or unusual discomfort. NHS guidance also recommends stopping movements that aggravate symptoms and getting advice when needed.
