Phone Posture: How to Stop Folding Toward the Screen
Phone posture changes when you change the phone's height and the length of the scrolling block. A chin tuck alone cannot fix a screen you keep chasing downward.
Bring the phone closer to eye level
Raise the phone when you can, especially for a long message or video. Support your arms if needed so you do not trade neck tension for shoulder tension. Keep the screen close enough that you are not leaning your whole body toward it.
You do not need to hold the phone high for every second. Alternate where you look and how you hold it.
Break up scrolling
After a short block, look across the room, stand up, and move your shoulders. The NHS recommends changing position regularly when computer or neck work increases discomfort. A short break can be more useful than trying to sit perfectly while continuing to scroll.
Try two gentle movements
Use five small chin tucks and a few wall slides. Keep the range comfortable and avoid forcing your head backward. Uncurled can guide these movements and remind you to return to them later.
