Posture Exercises With No Equipment

You can build a useful posture session with a wall and a little floor space. The limiting factor is often the cue to start, not the equipment.

Start with the neck and shoulders

Do five small chin tucks, then use a wall for controlled wall slides. Keep your eyes forward, let your shoulders stay relaxed, and shorten the range when the movement becomes difficult to control.

You can do both in a small room, beside a desk, or during a work break.

Use the floor for hips and glutes

A half-kneeling hip flexor stretch and glute bridges need no special equipment. Keep the hip stretch mild and lift the bridge without turning the lower back into the main mover.

If the floor is uncomfortable, use a folded towel or choose the standing versions. The routine should fit your space.

Make the no-equipment routine repeat

Attach it to a real cue, such as finishing work or changing into comfortable clothes. Uncurled can guide the sequence and keep your progress visible without needing a gym membership or a large setup.

NHS guidance supports comfortable movement and regular changes of position. Stop if a movement causes pain, dizziness, numbness, or unusual discomfort.
